My Experiences

Full resume is available at the top of this page

All of these experiences listed are brief overviews of what I have done so far to enhance my skills with people, writing, creating and working in the agricultural industry.

Montgomery County Fair Association

Marketing and Community Outreach, Fair Coordinator

I currently work at the Montgomery County Fair Association as a Marketing and Community Outreach, Fair Coordinator. In this role I utilize my marketing and communication skills to help drive our organization's mission: to champion the youth of Montgomery County. I work closely with several committees that strive to educate our county on the importance of agriculture and help support the next generation of agriculturists. With this role I also plan and create all materials posted to our website and social media channels.

Texas A&M College of Engineering

Alumni & Donor Relations Coordinator

While working with the College of Engineering I interacted with all engineering former students and high-level donors. Along with these interactions, I was able to create stories, write social posts and plan events that connected our college back to those who had come before us.

Midway Middle School

Agriculture Science Teacher

I always had such a passion for agriculture and I always admired my father for being my ag teacher my whole life. I took one year to try my hand at being in the classroom. While I loved learning new communication and teach techniques, I decided to take my passion for communications to the next step.

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

Social Media Student Intern

I got to use my love for agriculture while interning during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo by getting to work on the HLSR social media pages. Working here let me practice my skills with photography and Adobe Lightroom. I got the opportunity to create and publish content on different social media platforms.

Texas A&M AgriLeader

Copy Editor

While working for the Texas A&M AgriLeader as a copy editor I was able to work closely with writers to create content and practice my editing skills. I was also able to be creative myself by writing stories that were inspired by students and faculty at Texas A&M.
